According to The Seattle Times:

A man with a shotgun entered a shopping mall and began randomly shooting Monday night, killing five people and injuring many others before he was killed, police said.

The shooter was identified as a Srebrenica survivor, who was about 4 or 5 years old when it happened.

When the Bosnian Serbs overran the town in 1995, taking away and massacring some 8,000 Muslim men and boys, Talovic and his mother were evacuated by the United Nations and later reunited with his father, Redzo Talovic said.

Due to concern from some about Talovic’s Muslim belief, a family had to make such comment: “We are Muslims, but we are not terrorists.” The also police ruled out that the shooting was “motivated by religious extremism or an act of terrorism.” [CNN]

Here, notice the Muslim-terrorist card was played once again.

Investigators are trying to find out why this 18-year-old went on a rampage, killing five people and probably more if he weren’t shot down by the police. His family told they had no idea why he wanted to kill so many strangers.
