It’s interesting to read so many different view points.

Read Pouf!…He’s A Terrorist!

There could be a number of reasons why this person did what he did. Yet, simply because he is a Muslim, pouf!…he becomes a terrorist. Why did no one call Eric Harris and Dylan Kolbe, the Columbine High School shooters, terrorists? Why didn’t anyone call Jeffrey Wise, the shooter at Red Lake High School in March 2005, a terrorist? There have, in fact, been a number of school shootings in 2006 and even 2007. Why weren’t any of those perpetrators called terrorists?

It’s simple, really. They were not Muslim.

And another bloggers opinion on Bosnian Muslims.

Forget about the fact that he’s a Bosnian Muslim.Bosniaks are among the world’s most secular Muslims. They drink alcohol, they eat pork, they don’t pray to Mecca five times a day, they don’t wear hijabs, their children don’t go to madrassas. They’re not like the Arab Muslims, who are known for their suicide attacks and sundry jihad rumblings. They are not…I repeat…not jihadis, alright?

Sulejman’s father made a statement to a TV reporter believing his son is controlled and trained by someone and wanted the police to look into that possibility.

A Bosnian friend of the family blamed it all on the war, “I’m convinced the war did this,” Avdic said of the rampage in Utah. “There cannot be any other reason.”

See how a rampage happened in America, again, becomes another dispute over what caused and what happened during the war in Bosnia.

And what does the media call it these day: “Sudden Jihad Syndrome.”

It looks like the Muslim teen who opened fire on shoppers in a Salt Lake City mall is yet another case of “sudden jihad syndrome,” a condition in which normal-appearing American Muslims abruptly turn violent.

As for me, I think this guy’s action was a combination of psychological wound (probably from the war), adjusting to a new society, teenage development problem, tension and stress in the family and workplace. (Remember, he left (or was pulled out of) school at 16 to work at an assembly line.) and most of all, his own weakness.
