When I saw the Euro Cup’s Group Standing Result a few days ago, Bosnia was somewhere in the middle, near the bottom. I was not surprised. Bosnia, like other former Yugoslav neighbors except for Croatia, has no chance in advancing to the Final Round. Or so I thought. I looked at the Group’s standing today and guess what, Bosnia ranked 3rd, just after the group’s two heavy players Turkey and Greece.

Now, even though Turkey finished 3rd in one of previous World Cup (the one held in Japan and Korea) and Greece was a former Euro Cup Champion, they are more or less one-time wonders, instead of persistent and real heavy champs like Germany, France, Italy, Neitherland, England, Spain or Portugal. Bosnia does have a good shot of making to the final round. If they don’t grab this opportunity, I don’t know when they ever can.

The same thing goes to Serbia. They also rank third, and their group teams are not at all impressive.

By the way, Turkey and Greece are in the same group? Prepare to see hell breaks loose, or maybe they did already.
