Busses from and to Mostar
In contrast to western Europe where trains are slowly taking over buses in many major cities, if you want to travel around in Bosnia, you'll find yourself almost always taking the bus. Mostar has two bus stations, the main one is on the Muslim side, but if you have to go to certain places in Herzegovina or Croatia you may have to go the the Croatian bus station.These are the bus schedules:
To Dortmund: every Sunday 07:00
From Dortmund: every Tuesday 05:00
To Zagreb: 07:00, 09:00, 20:20
From Zagreb: 08:00
To Belgade: 21:00
From Belgrade: 22:45
To Split: 07:00, 10:15, 12:45 and 23:30 (during the period 15.06 until 15.09 also at 09:45)
To Dubrovnik: 07:00 and 12:30
To Makarska in the period from 25.06 until 05.09: 10:45
To Sarajevo: 06:00, 07:00, 09:00, 11:00, 15:00, 18:15
From Sarajevo: 06:00, 09:00, 11:30, 12:30, 15:30, 18:00, 19:55
To Zenica: 10:20 and 16:00
From Zenica: 09:20 and 15:40
To Gacko: 08:00
From Gacko: 10:00
To Nevesinje: 11:00
From Nevesinje: 13:45
These are not all destinations by far, but for the rest you can check at the bus station
You can buy ticket at the station, but you can also get it on the bus if there are seats left. Usually there is an extra charge of 1 or 2 KM for each large bag you carry.
